| William Baggins is a respectable man in his early forties. He pays his taxes and rent on time, he enjoyed the company of himself the most, hardly straying to pubs and is never, ever late for tea. He always dresses nice when he goes out, and is always polite with his 'please' and 'thank you's. Some find him strange, though, as he tends to stick by himself and never has 'lady friends' over, or... male friends if he is so inclined. William volunteers at the local children's hospital, however, reading stories and playing games with them. He also works part-time at a small book store, not really needing a large and steady income, as he comes from old money and is rather set. His life was simple (albeit a little lonely) and he was fine with that. He didn't need or want anyone to interfere with his happy little life. But fate, it seems, will not be deterred. And it all started with a chance meeting with an eccentric old man, promising him fulfillment.
